This book contains a listing of marriage bonds before 1851; after 1851, marriage certificates were issued. Entries herein contain the full-name of the groom, the full-name of the bride, and the date. Grooms are listed in alphabetical order with a cross index for brides. Dates may be date of application or date of filing, most are in a matter of days, but some are off as many as six or seven years. Information was gleaned from the North Carolina State Archives.
