Often times when an individual was missed on the regular U.S. Census, he would appear on this agricultural census. There are forty-eight columns of information in the agricultural census, six of which are listed here. They include name of owner, improved acreage, unimproved acreage, cash value of the farm, value of farm implements and machinery, and value of livestock. This volume includes the counties of Hanover, Henrico, Henry, Highland, Isle of Wight, James City, King and Queen, King George, King William, Lancaster, Lee, Loudoun, Louisa, Lunenburg, Madison, and Mathews.
