A Guide And Index To The Records of Washington Equity District (Greenville, Laurens and Newberry) 1808 - 1821

The cases listed in this guide are from the Washington Equity District, which included the smaller districts of Greenville, Laurens, and Newberry.  There are a few cases in these records which date from a period earlier than Washington Equity District (beginning 1808).

Equity cases are generally misunderstood, or not understood at all.  Within these cases are some of the best genealogical information to be found.
