This volume contains biographical sketches of thirty-four individuals who have served as circuit judges in what is now the 24th Circuit of Kentucky. consisting of Johnson, Lawrence, and Martin counties, as well as it predecessor circuits. Included is a history of the circuit court from its earliest days, when the circuit encompassed most of the eastern part of the state. Photographs of thirty of the judges are included. A chart outlines the dates of each historical circuit, and election results from 1862 are given.
