This volume contains entries from Richmond County, Virginia Order Book August 2, 1694 through April 8, 1697.
In 1692, Richmond County was formed from the part of (Old) Rappahannock County north of the Rappahannock River when that county was divided and abolished; Essex County was created at that same time from the lands on the south side of the river.
