$26.00

County deed books typically contain records of land transactions, mortgages, leases, releases, bills of sale, powers of attorney, indentures, marriage contracts, and other records of genealogical interest. Deed books should always be consulted when doing genealogical research.

This volume contains entries from Loudoun County, Virginia, Deed Book C (Part II), 1762–1763, beginning on page 377 and ending on page 743 for courts held 12 August 1762 through 14 September 1763; Deed Book D (Part I), 1763–1764, beginning on page 1 and ending on page 357 for courts held 14 September 1763 through 13 November 1764; and Deed Book D (Part II), 1764–1765, beginning on page 357 and ending on page 712 for courts held 13 November 1764 through 16 October 1765. The County Clerk also kept a book to document fees for various activities that required them, and a list of these names for the year 1764 can also be found in this work. Facsimile reprints of original documents and an every-name index add to the value of this work.
