This volume contains records from Essex County, Virginia Deed Book 22, 1738-1742, beginning on page 1 through page 438, for courts held 20 February 1738 through 15 February 1742. Records generally include the full names of all persons involved in the transaction (grantor, grantee, witnesses, and court officials), sum paid, description and location of property, date of transaction and date recorded.
