Platte County, located on the northwestern side of Missouri, was created on 31 December 1838 and named for the Platte Purchase, which had been named for the Platte River. In this volume, is a brief history of the county, marriages for 1839-1855, personal property tax for 1839, naturalization book 1847-1860 and the Patrons of Atlas of 1877.
