Grundy County, located in the northwestern portion of Missouri, was created on 2 January 1841 and was named for the U. S. Attorney General Felix Grundy. This volume of records contains a brief history of the county, Registration of Births 1864-1870, Marriage Book 1 1864-1875, Civil War Soldiers' Discharges records, and Death Registrations 1883-1885.
