Livingston County, located in the upper northwestern portion of Missouri, was created on 6 January 1837 and named for the Secretary of State Edward Livingston, who helped draft the Louisiana Civil Code of 1825. This set of records include a brief history of the county, the Abstracts of Wills, Administration Bonds and Guardianship Bonds Book B 1857-1862, the Civil War Soldiers discharge papers, and the Patrons of the Atlas of 1878.
