In 1857, Jack County, Texas was created from Cooke County land. The records in the volume are arranged alphabetical by the surname of the Groom and then a Bride's index is given at the end of the book. This Volume 4 of the Marriage Records gives the following information: Groom, Bride, Date of Marriage and the Official at the ceremony, as well as the page number in the original Record Book.
