Sutton County, Texas was created in 1887 out of the lands of Kinney County in southwestern Texas, but it was not organized until 1890. This is the first of their marriage records. This volume consists of two alphabetical listings, first by the groom's surname showing the name of the bride and the date of the wedding. The second listing is by the bride's surname with the name of the groom and the date of the marriage.
