Dyer County, Tennessee Marriages, 1860-1879

This book contains marriage records that were taken directly from a microfilmed copy of the original county marriage books.  Where two dates appear on an entry, the first one is the date license was issued, the second (in parentheses) the date marriage was solemnized.  Sometimes the execution of the marriage was not reported to the courthouse, and occasionally the clerk failed to note in the marriage book that the license was returned.  The marriages are arranged alphabetically, the first half of the book by groom - the second by bride.
