Maury County, Tennessee is located in middle Tennessee and was created on 24 November 1807 from a part of Williamson County and was named in honor of Major Abram P. Maury, one of the early settlers in this area. These abstracts of the original deeds give all of the vital information needed to completely identify the tracts of land, only the calls are omitted.
