In these pages you will find a few selected cemeteries of Sullivan County, Tennessee catalogued by the W.P.A. workers during the late 1930s. They visited each of the cemeteries and listed the inscriptions on the various tombstones. The workers were local citizens of the area and should have known the names at least if not the person buried there.
There is not correction of spellings. Remember that all tombstones are not an official date for the death of the individual.
