This is a listing of all the teachers in 1900 for the Commonwealth of Virginia showing them by county/school. Each county lists all of the schools in their area, both white and African American schools, with the teachers for that school in 1900. There are over 7,000 teachers given in this report. In addition to the full name index, there is an alphabetical index of the schools within each county. This is a valuable source for a later time period, but one important in family research.
