Early Louisville, Kentucky Newspaper Abstracts 1806-1828

In this book are genealogical and historical abstracts from five early Louisville, Kentucky, newspapers.  Included are the Western American, 1806; the Louisville Gazette and Western Advertiser, 1807-1809; the Western Courier, 1813-1816; the Louisville Correspondent, 1813-1817; and the Louisville Public Advertiser, 1818-1828.  When using this book as a research tool, please keep in mind that the people of this time period sometimes spelled words phonetically.  Check all possible spellings of the name you are searching.  The names are abstracted as they appear in the newspapers.
