These records herein deal primarily with the Revolutionary War in the Up-Country of South Carolina. Dr. Logan lists, among other things, members of various Revolutionary Regiments, leaders and officers in the Revolution; detailed descriptions of skirmishes and battles, etc. Also, he gives histories of a number of families in this upper part of South Carolina, which having been written during the Revolution, carry families back to the 1700s. A new complete full-name index has been prepared for this edition.
