Spotsylvania County, Virginia Records 1722-1838


Spotsylvania County was created in 1721 from Essex, King and Queen and King William counties. Spotsylvania saw its full share of early settlers heading from Maryland and Coastal Virginia heading west to Culpeper, Madison and Orange counties.
