Saint Mary's Cemetery Newton, Massachusetts (Epitaphs)

The finished project here presented fulfills two objectives. It is a transcription of the epitaphs in St. Mary’s Cemetery in 1999. Secondly, it is the most complete listing available of persons buried here. Primary information comes from the stones themselves. Two previously published books to supplement inscriptions where drawn upon in order to supplement inscriptions which had deteriorated: The Tombstone Records of Newton, Massachusetts and Epitaphs from Graveyards in Wellesley, North Natick, and Saint Mary’s Churchyard in Newton Lower Falls, Massachusetts.
