Restored Hamilton County, Ohio Marriage Records, Supplements 1850-1884

As a result of the Hamilton County Courthouse fire in March of 1884, many original marriage records were destroyed. It was the intent that the series of publication, Restored Hamilton County, Ohio Marriages, would help to fill that void by reconstructing as many of the original records as possible. Since then, Jeff Herbert has gained access to additional sources that previously were not available for indexing. More than 4,800 marriages that occurred between 1850 and 1884 are included in this supplement. Sources were obtained from actual church marriage registers that were kept by the priests and ministers for their particular church. This index will prove to be another valuable publication in any researcher's library.
