One of the early survey books of Tennessee, this volume covers land sales and tracts from 1807 through 1812 in Anderson, Grainger, Jefferson, Claiborne, Knox and Sevier Counties. Each grant is listed numerically and reflects the name of owner, number of acres, location of land and in many cases, neighbors. Also included are the dates of the Warrants and/or grants and maps of Anderson County (1801), Boundaries of Knox County (1792-1946), and map of Tennessee.
